Muna Canales MD, MS

Muna Canales is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida and Staff Physician at the Malcom Randall VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She has devoted her nearly 20-year career in nephrology to blending the science and art of medicine through clinical research and patient care. She is also committed to teaching the next generation of physicians through work with students in community service, as core faculty for the 3rd year medical student internal medicine clerkship, and as a core lecturer for the 1st year renal course. She is one of the founding members of the University of Florida Chapter of the Hippocratic Society where she hopes to create space for trainees (and for herself) to grow in the practice of good medicine.
