    • Ethan Schimmoeller is a family medicine resident at Memorial Family Medicine Residency in South Bend, Indiana, where he serves as academic chief resident. After graduating residency in 2024, he will embark upon palliative care fellowship at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati and master’s in bioethics from The Ohio State University. His scholarly interests lie in the nexus of medical, moral, and spiritual issues at the end of life.
